MIFARE® DESFire® EV2 Contactless Smartcards

Farpointe expanded its Delta® line of contactless smartcard credentials to include two MIFARE® DESFire® EV2 composite, printable cards. The DE2 is a 13.56-MHz contactless smartcard, while the DE2-125 includes both 13.56-MHz and 125-kHz technologies.

The P-300 Cascade—part of the Pyramid Series Proximity® line of 125-kHz proximity readers—boasts a read range of up to 5 inches (126 mm). Fully encapsulated in weather- and tamper-resistant epoxy potting, it can be installed with confidence indoors or out. Further, the little P-300 supports today's most popular credential protocols, mounts to flat surfaces including metal mullions, makes possible private labeling, and is backed by Farpointe's limited lifetime warranty.
