On a recent business trip to Australia, Farpointe's Key Accounts Sales Manager, Shep Sheppard, came across this Farpointe proximity reader, not far from the iconic Sydney Opera House.

The unit pictured (circled in red) is a P-300 125-kHz proximity reader, installed below an intercom system at the front entrance of an office building.

Spotlight: Mounting Guides Now Available

Farpointe has added mounting guides—a new resource for installing technicians—to its website. Each guide provides the necessary information to assist in mounting a reader to a flat surface. Many of the guides are shown actual size, which can be printed at 100% and used for marking drill holes. Guides are available for both letter-size and A4-size paper.
